Citizen Tribune Mobile App Ipad 2 Giveaway Contest Rules

The Citizen Tribune “CT” Mobile App Download promotion is sponsored by Citizen Tribune and begins March 7, 2012 and concludes 11:59 pm EST April 30, 2012. One random entry form will be drawn from all entry forms collected from official Citizen Tribune Mobile App Promotion Drawing registration boxes. May enter at each official display location, as often as desired. No purchase necessary. Mobile App must be presented on any mobile device to receive affiliated retailer discounts and offers from participating businesses. Employees of Citizen Tribune or Lakeway Publishers, Inc, or its affiliates are not eligible to participate.

1.How to Participate: Contestants must download the Citizen Tribune “CT” Mobile App on any mobile device and register to win an IPad by logging on to www.citizentribune.com and click on the “Download The CT App” button on the Citizen Tribune website home page http://www.citizentribune.com/?page_id=8564 for instructions to download from IPhone, Android or Blackberry mobile device, and submit an entry for the drawing . Or visit the Citizen Tribune office at 1609 W. 1st N. Street, Morristown, TN 37814. Monday – Friday from 8:00 am – 4:45 pm, March 7 – April 30, 2012, to show Mobile App or receive assistance for download and fill out drawing entry form.

Visit participating retailers to fill out entry form at Mobile App promotion in-store displays. Must show “CT” Mobile App downloaded on any mobile device to participating retailers (published weekly in the Citizen Tribune) to receive exclusive retailer in-store discounts and offers.

•There is no limit on the number of entries from one person. •There is no cost to enter the Drawing.

2.Eligibility: Any current legal residents of and residing in the United States of America. Prior to claiming any Prize, in the event the entrant becomes a Winner, an entrant will be disqualified and any prize awarded will be forfeited if an entrant is found to be using an assumed name or alias. Must be at least fourteen (14) years of age and current legal resident of and residing in the United States of America.

3.Ineligible Individuals: Employees (including current interns), principals, officers, directors, agents, and representatives of Citizen Tribune, Lakeway Publishers, Inc, and their family and household members are ineligible to participate in the drawing. Any protest in the conducting of the drawing, the selection of the Winner or the awarding of the prize must be brought immediately; the resolution of any protest shall be in the sole discretion of the Executive Committee of Citizen Tribune, whose decision shall be considered final.

4.Winner Selection & Odds of Winning: One name will be randomly drawn from all official entry forms collected by Citizen Tribune. The odds of winning vary. They depend on the number of people entering.

5.Winner Notification and Prize Claim: Winner will be notified by email within 30 days of conclusion of Promotion. Winner must contact the Citizen Tribune at (423) 581-5630, and arrange to come to the Citizen Tribune office in person to claim his or her prize at the following address: Citizen Tribune 1609 W. 1st N. Street, Morristown, TN 37814. Winner must be able to show he or she has downloaded the Citizen Tribune Mobile App or Bookmark on a mobile device to claim prize.

Prize will be awarded only to a Winner presenting his or her own positive, government-issued or school-issued identification at the time of claim. A Winner must complete and sign a Lakeway Publishers, Inc. issued waiver, acknowledgment and release forms and government-issued tax forms including, but not limited to, IRS Form W-9, if applicable. After these forms are completed and after other verification measures are completed, the prize will be awarded only to the Winner, who will be required to sign for the Prize at the time of receipt. In the event that a Winner is a minor child who has not reached at least eighteen (18) years of age, the identification, signature and delivery requirements can be fulfilled by the presentation of the required identification and signing of the required forms by the Winner’s parent or legal guardian.

Winner must notify Citizen Tribune to verify his or her eligibility and claim his or her Prize within fourteen (14) days from the date on which he or she was notified by the Citizen Tribune. Failure to do so will result in the Prize being awarded to an alternate name randomly drawn from all collected entry forms. Winner will be notified by email sent to the account which was submitted on the entry form.

6.Prize: One Apple Ipad 2 will be awarded to one randomly drawn name from official entry forms collected, who also meets all other rules and regulations governing the Drawing, including eligibility. Prize must be accepted as awarded. Prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and not redeemable for other prizes. All costs of claiming the Prize must be borne by the Winner.

7.Technical Failures: Citizen Tribune is not responsible for errors, problems or delays in switched, mobile or cellular telephone systems or on the Internet that may prevent entries from being submitted or Prize from being claimed.

•Participant Agreements: By submitting an entry form, each entrant agrees to the rules established by the Promotion sponsor Citizen Tribune. By participating or attempting to participate in the Drawing, submitters grant Citizen Tribune, Lakeway Publishers, Inc., its affiliates and assigns, permission to use his or her name, voice and/or likeness for promotional purposes in any medium of communications. Winner may also be featured in the Citizen Tribune newspaper; it’s online website, Facebook pages, any controlled or related media, and any other locations authorized by Citizen Tribune, Lakeway Publishers, Inc.

•Release and Waiver: In exchange for the right to participate in the Drawing, each participant agrees to release and indemnify Citizen Tribune, Lakeway Publishers, Inc. and its officers, directors, agents, representatives, subsidiaries, assigns, employees and investors (the “Released Parties”), from any and all claims, demands and/or causes of action of any nature or kind whatsoever, whether presently known or unknown, foreseen or unforeseen, that arise out of the participation in the Drawing. The Released Parties are not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by the material, equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the contest and assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to a phone line used in conjunction with the Contest. Winner should expect that they will be required to sign a separate Waiver, Acknowledgment and Release upon collection of a Prize.

•Severability: Should any of the Drawing rules, or any part of those rules, as herein stated, become unenforceable either by operation of law or by order of a court or other tribunal with competent jurisdiction, all other terms and conditions shall remain in full force.
