How Do I Play This Contest?
In order to play our Civil War Recipe contest, you first need a period specific recipe. Once you have chosen your favorite recipe, you can upload it to our contest by clicking the Submission tab in navigation above. Submissions can be in the form of the written out recipe and/or a picture of the final, prepared dish.
How Many Recipes May I Submit to the Contest?
You may submit up to 10 recipes.
How Long May I Play The Contest?
You may submit a recipe until the 23rd of July. After that, you may vote on your favorite recipe until the 9th of August.
How Do I Vote?
After you have submitted your favorite recipe to our contest, you may click on the vote tab in the above navigation and vote for your favorite submission. You can also rally your friends and family to vote for your entry.
Is There A Prize For The Winner?
Yes. The winner will have their recipe printed in our Civil War publications. The winners will also receive a free year subscription to either the Civil War Courier, Camp Chase Gazette or Citizen's Companion.
