How Does it Work?
During the early years of Maifest, downtown homes and businesses would decorate with window boxes with flowers.
Visitors would awe at the blooming flowers that were everywhere they looked.
Let’s Do It Again!!!
But this time ... let’s win a prize!!
Start planting now! Hermann has nurseries to get your flowers from and Hermann Lumber has window boxes. Get fancy or stay sweet, green plants and flowering window boxes look great! The Hermann Advertiser-Courier will take pictures of the window boxes or planters and post them online, anyone and everyone can go online and vote for their favorite flower decoration.
Window boxes and planters will be judged by online voters starting May 18, 2012 through May 28, 2012. Winner will receive $100.00 in Hermann Bucks and a FREE full page ad in the next Hermann Visitor Guide.
